Following the success of the “Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas” eGaming tournament organised around the world, with the final held on May 25th at Roland-Garros, site of the French Open, the FFT (French Tennis Federation) and Bigben are extending their collaboration for the game Tennis World Tour.
The partnership will allow the inclusion in the game of the courts from the “New Roland-Garros”, in particular the centre court, Court Philippe Chatrier, in the future configuration planned for 2021. A special edition of the game Tennis World Tour – Roland-Garros incorporating these new elements will be published in 2019.
Apart from adding the prestigious Grand Slam tournament, which will be the 1st official playable tournament in Tennis World Tour, other content and animations will be made available to players and tennis fans.
“We are very happy to have Roland-Garros included in a game as promising as Tennis World Tour. Giving games and tennis fans the opportunity to play in our new stadium is a continuation of the first steps we have been taking in eGaming, and especially of the Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas”, explained Stéphane Morel, Deputy General Manager of the Strategy and Development cluster at the Fédération Française de Tennis (French Tennis Federation).
“As a French publisher, Bigben is delighted to be establishing this strong relationship with the FFT and Roland-Garros. Our objective is to continue to improve the game and to add content, with the real goal of bringing the Tennis World Tour brand to life in the long term. There is no partner we would rather have than the FFT on this journey,” Alain Falc, CEO of Bigben, stated.
The details of the content and the release date will be announced at a later time.
